So says Heart, the radio station that has been playing nothing but the usual fare since early November (And aren't we glad are we they've reminded us what date Boxing Day is?). It's as if they only have twenty or thirty Christmas records in the studio and they keep playing them again and again and again and...Now we all like a bit of Mud and Maria, Shaky and Noddy - of course we do! - but the Blagg Advent Calendar is an attempt to find an antidote to all the stuff that has you tearing off your ears by Boxing Day. I'm not saying it's better - a lot of it is, some is willfully awful - but at least it's different.
Now in it's 11th year, that means there are 250 songs of varying quality available by the links at the side of this blog. Play them all. Go On! What else you gonna do all December?
